Dermal Filler is a soft tissue filler injected into the dermis to add volume to multiple applicable areas of the face. The injection solution is mainly made up of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a natural substance regularly found in the skin. HA is responsible for keeping the skin hydrated and volumized. Dermal Filler can last 6 months up to 2 plus years depending upon each individual and the type of filler used. The injection solution also contains lidocaine to minimize the discomfort while injecting.

HOW ARE DERMAL FILLERS INJECTED?
Our medical professionals and certified injectors will assess the treatment area and create a treatment plan to deliver the desired results. Injections will be made in the areas determined in the treatment plan. Ice will be applied prior to receiving the injections to numb the area. Each syringe contains 1 mL of filler and multiple syringes may be needed to complete the treatment. Bleeding, bruising and swelling are possible and often seen post injection. With the use of a vein finder, our staff can minimize these side effects.
