Venus Viva RF MicroNeedling
Venus Viva is the newest FDA approved fractional radio frequency (RF) device specifically designed to dramatically improve the tone, texture and overall quality of skin. It provides a safe, non-invasive, long-lasting solution to a wide range of skin concerns including wrinkles, acne scars, uneven pigmentation and stretch marks. This fully customized treatment is an FDA approved method using micro-focused fractional radio frequency energy which deeply heats the skin rather than burns it like other lasers, and gives much quicker rejuvenation after facial remodeling and resurfacing due to it’s decreased healing time. It can be used in all skin types, even those with dark or ethnic skin as the radio frequency energy can target specific pigment changes.
Are You A Candidate?
Venus Viva treatment is appropriate for all skin types and colors. It is safe and effective for both men and women of all ages. It can be used to effectively treat even tough-to-cure skin conditions such as acne scars, large pores, uneven texture, excess pigmentation, stretch marks, loose skin and wrinkles.
Venus Viva should not be used on hair-bearing areas such as eyebrows. It is also inappropriate for areas of the skin that are tattooed. Therefore, patients with permanent make-up should not receive Venus Viva treatments in these areas.
Most Venus Viva treatment plans are carried out over three to four 15 minute sessions. There is generally a two - four week break between each treatment session. A short period of time lasting a few hours to a few days is required after each session before returning to normal activities. Patients should plan their time commitments according to these requirements in order to achieve the best results during a Venus Viva treatment program.
After treatment?
Most patients resume normal activities very shortly after a Venus Viva treatment. After the session, it is recommended to wait 24 - 48 hours before using any skin product and 48 hours before using a mineral make-up on the treated area. Sun exposure should be avoided for the first 48 hours after a treatment.
The Venus Viva treatment process has been approved by the FDA . This is based on the evidence collected through numerous studies demonstrating the safety and efficacy of this treatment method. The medicinal application of radio frequency therapeutics, in general, is a treatment class that has proven safe over time. In comparison to other types of skin resurfacing techniques that can cause the skin to become weepy and ooze, radio frequency allows only minimal skin sensitization and a substantially quicker return to normal activities.
